1. Approval of Terms of Use
The services we offer are subject to the following Terms of Use. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The current version can be viewed at http://0install.de/about/sync/terms/.

2. Services

2.1. Sync

2.1.1. Description
Sync is a service that store the list of applications installed via Zero Install and the selected integration of these applications into the operating system online and synchronizes them between multiple computers. Users are provided 1MB of storage space for this.

2.1.2. Obligations
The user agrees to use this space only for the storage of Sync data. The provided software encrypts this data before uploading it to our servers. An upload of unencrypted data is not permitted. The user is not allowed to use the space for other data. The user agrees to keep the password of his user account secret and to not disclose it to third parties.

2.2. Costs
The services on 0install.de are free of charge and not subject to any other obligations other than those listed in these Terms of Use.

2.3. Deleting user accounts
We reserve the right to delete user accounts, including all associated data without giving a reason.

3. Liability
As a service provider we are responsible according to § 7 ​​paragraph 1 of the TMG (German Telemediengesetz) for own contents on these pages under the general laws. According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG (German Telemediengesetz) we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored foreign information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. However, liability is only possible starting with the date of knowledge of a specific infringement. Upon notification of such violations, we will remove the content immediately.

4. Legal validity
These terms and conditions are part of the website of 0install.de. If parts or individual formulations of this text are not or no longer legally applicable the remaining parts of these terms shall remain unaffected.
